obligatoriu coborita(pe minim).altfel te poti accidenta grav.mare atentie la lucrul cu presiune mare.

Before commencing, ensure that you have the correct tools and facilities, and that you are confident in your own abilities. The hydro-pneumatic suspension system works at VERY high pressure. Also the suspension can drop very suddenly if the vehicle is not supported correctly on axle stands or ramps. These notes assume you have reasonable knowledge & experience of car repair procedures and their associated safety precautions.

You will need:
Axle stands or ramps
Trolley jack
Chain wrench or strap wrench
12mm open ended spanner

It is imperative to follow the procedure in the order as written to ensure that the system is de-pressurised at the correct time.

1A~ Start the engine and put the suspension in the HIGH position (lift up and move the height lever in the centre console to the rearmost position)

2A~ jack up and support the rear suspension so that there is enough room to work under the car. You can support the car on the rear wheels using ramps, but remember that the suspension will be in it's LOWEST position when the spheres are removed.

3A~ With the engine running and the suspension still in HIGH, loosen both rear spheres approx. one full turn anticlockwise using the chain/strap wrench.

This will break the seal between the sphere and the cylinder. The system pressure will hold the cylinder rigid to prevent it turning within it's housing. LHM fluid will leak out slightly from between the two componants.

4A~ Once both spheres are loosened, leave the engine running and place the height control lever in it's LOWEST position (lift up the lever and move to the forwardmost position). This will allow the system to de-pressurise. Now is the time to go off and make a cuppa - around 5 minutes.

5A~ Once the system has de-pressurised and fallen to it's lowest position, switch off the engine and fully remove the spheres. BEWARE! residual pressure may squirt LHM fluid from the sphere once removed. (eye protection is strongly recommended). Also, ensure that the car cannot drop and injure you if it has not reached it's lowest position.

6A~ Remove the old 'o'ring seals from the suspension cylinders and carefully fit new ones. (supplied with spheres). Lubricate the surface of the new seals and carefully fit the new spheres ensuring the seals are not disturbed. Tighten the spheres using the chain/strap wrench, bearing in mind that they only need to be just more than 'hand' tight. Be careful not to twist the suspension cylinders in thier housings.

The rear is now complete.

Following on from fitting the rear spheres we can now commence fitting the front.

1B~ Do not alter the position of the car at all. Ensure the front suspension is still in it's LOWEST position and simply unscrew the front spheres.

2B~ Remove the 'o'ring seals and replace them (as described for the rear spheres). Carefully screw in the new spheres, and as with the rear's tighten then just more than 'hand' tight.

The front is now complete

Fitting the accumulator sphere

1C~ The accumulator sphere is fitted to the pressure regulator, which is mounted on the front of the gearbox bell-housing.

2C~ The accumulator sphere MUST be de-pressurised before removal. To do this, locate the BLEED SCREW on the pressure regulator and unscrew it half a turn. (The bleed screw is the TOP screw facing forward, and is the only 12mm head)

3C~ Once the bleed screw is loosened, the accumulator sphere can be removed. Due to lack of space around the sphere, if your chain/strap wrench will not fit, it is acceptable to loosen the sphere using a chisel or similar, tapping it around anti-clockwise. Fully unscrew the sphere and replace the unit as per previously described for the other spheres.

4C~ The spheres are now all fitted and all that remains is to check for leaks, and check the LHM fluid level. Start the engine and put the suspension in HIGH position. Once the suspension has risen, visually inspect all the new sphere joints for leaks.

5C~ Remove the supports for the rear suspension.

6C~ Return the height adjustment lever to the NORMAL position in the middle

7C~ Check the LHM fluid level (the yellow disc should be BETWEEN the two red lines on the reservoir guage).

JOB DONE!

If fitting just front spheres.

1D~ Start the engine and place the height control lever in it's LOWEST position (lift up the lever and move to the forwardmost position)

2D~ Go make a cuppa (around 5 minutes)

3D~ Once the system is de-pressurised and the car is at it's lowest position, using the chain/strap wrench loosen the front spheres. Beware, some residual pressure may remain causing a little LHM fluid to squirt out.

4D~ Competely remove the old spheres and the old 'o'rings. Fit the new 'o'rings and lubricate lightly with LHM.

5D~ Screw in the new spheres and using the chain/strap wrench tighten to just more than 'hand' tight.

6D~ Place the height control lever to HIGH and start the engine. Check for leaks. Check LHM reservoir level.

7D~ Return the height adjustment lever to the NORMAL position in the middle

Front spheres are now complete.

If fitting just the rear spheres, follow notes:

1A to 6A and move on to 4C to 7C

Inainte de aincepe asigurati-va ca aveti sculele si dispozitivele corecte,si ca sunteti increzator in abilitatile dvs.
Sistemul hydropneumatic de suspensie lucreaza la presiune foarte inalta, deasemenea presiunea suspensiei poate scadea brusc, de aceea vehicolul trebuie suspendat corect pe rampe sau cricuri. Aceste instructiuni presupun ca aveti cunostintele rezonabile si experienta procedurilor de reparatii cu masurile de protectia muncii asociate.

Veti avea nevoie de:
Cricuri sau rampe axiale (ambele roti de pe o axa suspendate)
Cricuri mobile
Cheie cu lant sau cu pamblica
12mm cheie deschisa

Este obligatoriu sa urmati procedura in ordine scrisa punctuala pentru a va asigura ca sistemul este depresurizat la timpul corect.

1A-Porniti motorul si puneti suspensia pe pozitia cel mai de sus (HIGH)

2A-Cu un cric asigurati masina in partea din spate asa incat sa fie spatiu suficient pentru a lucra sub masina. Puteti suspenda masina pe o rampa (cel mai indicat) ,si tineti minte ca suspensia va fi in pozitia cea mai joasa cand vor fi demontate sferele.

3A-Cu motorul pornit si suspensia in pozitia cea mai sus, slabiti ambele sfere aproximativ o tura in sens contrar acelor de ceasornic folosind cheia cu lant sau cu pamblica.
Aceasta va debloca garnitura dintre sfera si cilindru. Presiunea din sistem va mentine cilindrul rigid si blocat pentru a preveni rotirea lui odata cu sfera. Lichidul hidraulic se va prelinge usor la imbinarea celor doua componente.

4A-Odata ce ambele sfere sunt slabite ,lasati motorul sa functioneze si actionati butonul de coborare pe cea mai joasa pozitie. Aceasta va permite sistemului sa se depresurizeze. Acum e momentul pentru o pauza aprox. 5 minute.

5A- Dupa ce sistemul s-a depresurizat si masina e pe pozitia cea mai de jos, opriti motorul si demontati comple sferele de pe sistem. ATENTIE presiune reziduala poate ramane pe sistem si poate stropi cu lichid hidraulic (protectia ochilor este recomandata). Deasemenea asigurati-va ca masina nu va cadea daca nu este pe pozitia cea mai de jos.

6A-Scoateti inelele de etansare vechi de pe cilindrii suspensiei si cu grija montati-le pe cele noi (livrate odata cu sferele noi). Ungeti suprafata unde va veni noile inele de etansare si cu grija potriviti noile sfere asigurandu-va ca inelele nu se misca de pe pozitie. Strangeti sferele folosind cheia cu lant ,tinand cont ca trebuie stranse putin mai mult decat cu mana libera. Aveti grija sa nu se rasuceasca si cilindrii de suspensie odata cu sferele.

Partea din spate e acum terminata.

Dupa ce am terminat partea din spate putem incepe lucrul la partea din fata.

1B-Nu modificati pozitia masinii. Asigurati-va ca suspensia din spate este in pozitia cea mai de jos. Acum puteti desuruba sferele din fata.

2B-Scoateti inelele de etansare vechi si inlocuiti-le. Cu grija montati noile sfere si strangetile putin mai mult decat cu mana libera.

Partea din fata e acum terminata.

Inlocuirea sferelor acumulator.

1C-Sfera acumulator este montata pe regulatorul de presiune, care este in fata cutiei de viteza.

2C-Sfera acumulator trebuie depresurizata inaintea demontarii. Pentru a face asta localizati niplul de purjare de pe regulatorul de presiune si slabiti-l jumatate de tura (niplul se afla deasupra si este cu cap de 12mm).

3C-Odata ce niplul a fost slabit sfera de acumulator poate fi scoasa. Datorita lipsei de spatiu din jurul sferei ,daca cheia cu lant hu poate fi folosita ,este acceptabil sa fie folosita o dalta lovind sfera in sensul de desurubare. Scoateti sfera complet si inlocuiti-o asa cum af= fost descris ptr celelalte sfere.

4C-Sferele sunt acum inlocuite si ce a ramas este sa verificam eventualele pierderi de lichid hidraulic si nivelul de lichid hidraulic. Porniti motorul si actionati butonul de ridicare pe treapta cea mai inalta. Dupa ce masina s-a ridicat verificati vizual sferele la imbinare pentru a detecta eventualele pierderi de lichid.

5C-Indepartati suporturile pentru partea din spate a masinii.

6C-puneti masina in pozitie de inaltime normala.

7C-Verificati nivelul de lichid hidraulic (discul galben trebuie sa fie intre cele doua linii rosii din rezervor)

Treaba terminata!

Daca se inlocuiesc numai sferele din fata.

1D-Porniti motorul si lasati masina pe pozitia cea mai joasa dupa care opriti-l

2D-Luati o pauza de 5 min

3D-Dupa ce sistemul s-a depresurizat si masina este pe pozitia cea mai de jos slabiti sferele din fata. Atentie presiune reziduala poate ramane in sistem provocand stropire cu lichid hidraulic.

4D-scoateti sferele si inelele de etansare vechi . Montati noile inele .Ungeti inelele cu lichid hidraulic.

5D-Insurubati noile sfere folosind cheia cu lant sau cu pamblica si strangeti-le putin mai mult decat cu mana libera.

6D-Porniti motorul si puneti masina pe pozitia cea mai de sus. Verificati eventualele pierderi de lichid. Verificati nivelul de lichid din rezervor.

Sferele din fata sunt acum inlocuite.

Daca se inlocuiesc numai sferele din spate urmati procedura de la punctele 1A--6A si apoi 4C--7C

Ma indoiesc ca vei reusi sa scoti sferele cind masina e SUS. Sint sute de bari in spatele lor.
