Hi to all xantia owners
I must write in English since I dont speak Romanian, but I hope that you will be kind enough to overcome this problem.
I've bought a few days ago a 2001 2lit. xantia. the A/C blower motor runs only at full speed. what regulates the motor speed? resistors or an electronic circuit? and where is it located? one more thing that I would like to find is the wiring diagram of the car. maybe you know where I can find it?
Thanks.

hello and welcome!
the motor is controlled by an electronic regulator; that regulator is placed on the case of the motor. take off the motor, and you will see the regulator; the problem is that one of those 2 big transistors is blown, or both of them...

Hi guys
thanx for your replies.
Lucsan - thanx for your offer, that will help. I'll send you my Email. if you have any additional material regarding the xantia, it will be great. btw- perhaps you know where I can find the owner's manual? I've tried to get it from the Citroen agent in Israel, but they dont have it.
Dj01fad - do I have to take out the motor itself? and if, can it be done without dismantling the dashboard? I've seen that there is an opening under the glove compartment, is there any access to the motor? with the transistors I wont have any problem, since I know my way around electronics.
Thanx again and have a nice day.
