I hope you don't mind if I take advantage of it... I would like to improve / reshape a little bit the bumpers on my old BX.

From were should I start? .. I have the bunmpers, a strong will, a little bit of time (mostly weekends) and some money to put on top .. :D

What else is necessary, besides the know-how? ..

you should send me some good pictures so that i have an idea of the damage.
Check first if your bumpers are from glass fiber or ABS,glassfiber don't get grip on plastics.

nothing damaged .. I just want to smoothen the edges

I'll try to find out from are the bumpers made of and I'll email you .. :)
